So I came across a this Mercury Lynx with the Mazda RF diesel engine in it. I am seriously considering sending the guy an offer for $400 for it. So oppo, what do you think? I wouldn’t actually use this as a driver, it would be a rallycross/hoon-the-ever-loving-shit-out-of-it car.

If you’re the kind of person that thinks a $400 33 year old diesel domestic car would be fun, you’ll love doing the Gambler.

My local one has a single day run coming up in a couple of weeks.

They’re known for cooling system issues in the Ford applications, that’s most of what I know.

Yea, I read up a little on them and it seems like it was an issue with the fan not kicking on and temps getting too high which doesn’t seem too bad.
